Well id better do my card first before i tell you what im soooo giddy about ....
first of all the craft club i run sticky fixers , fund rasied over £140 and we bought some copics !
Me being the teacher of course ive had to play to learn how to do them - to teach the others ! This is my efforts above - not perfect but im pleased with it .
It has been a learning curve and i am throughly enjoying it .. Im one of these people that if you make a mistake - thats good - cos in my book its great fun and you learn so much more about a product just playing and making those mistakes.
I love a challenge , so when it goes wrong i love to work at it until im satisfied . ..
I ve had a couple of problems with ink and card . Ive found coated card great - especially for a beginner as the copic ink doesnt spread as much and on thin card is less controllable . It reminded me of silk painting ... but not quite that as spreadable . Im looking for an ink for stamping that can do both waterbased pens - ie whispers and you can also use copics with them too . So if any of you ink experts are reading id be thrilled at any advice ! also a need a gloopy kind of ink for the copics - im wasting so much card with dye inks when stamping with a detailed image .
NEXT by news of why im so giddy ! As some of you know my boyfriend is Calvin from mishaps in the making blog - he lives a couple of hundred miles away from me , so we only get to see each other once a month . He is up this week and we are going to the sticky fixers christmas do which is GREASE NIGHT !!!!!!!!! Yeh !!! and im really excited !

Its so so nice to see people actually making things from the tutorials i put up ...and if you take a peek at dotties world ..Lou has made some fab snowman earrings !

Oh Maddy Maddy Maddy! You're bl**dy priceless girl! I'm so glad I took your advice and went for a pee first! Fancy Calvin dressing up as the wrong character! He's so desperate to go, I think you're going to have to sneek him in. Tell him form me that he's gorgeous, far better looking than John Travolta any day! I think you need to make him a girlfriend (she could be called Maddy!)

...I totally tried the Prisma, Gamsol, SU marker, and nibs thing...I need to practice more. The one image I tried to color came out too dark. Practice, practice, practice...right? :)

I'm planning on making some of the earrings just haven't got round to it yet. But nearly finished my Christmas cards so will ahve a go next week. I found some white Fimo last week whilst searching for something else so I'm ready to go.
